Guy only ever wanted to be a Horseman. From the time he was fifteen until he was twenty four Guy took over the trail riding duties at the Homestead and was in charge of fifty guest horses and their training, as well as taking on outside horses to educate for the public.
Guy McLean and his Australian horses have entertained, inspired and educated thousands of Australians from all walks of life. It is an event for children, families, horseman and the general public not to be missed.
Australian whip cracking entertainer Walter Whip will bring his renowned show Walter Whip and The Flames to this years Show Whitsunday!
He grew up with a passion for the Australian country lifestyle despite growing up in the heart of Brisbane. Walter Whip purchased his first stock whip at 10 and spent hours practising all kind of whip cracking styles.
In 2015 he took his whip cracking skills to a show level again, then was approached by the Australian rodeo circuit to re-start his show. He come back in full swing with his show “Walter Whip and The Flames”.
He has now taken whip cracking shows to a new level, introducing performers “The Flames” to the show.
Walter Whip is famed for his ability to cut roses from the trusting performers’ hands and mouths. He also performs fire stunts and enters a burning ring of fire, cracking two whips on fire.
Mikayla Jade is known as Australia’s own Crazy Cowgirl for a very good reason. Most people who ride horses spend their time trying very hard to remain safely in the saddle: Mikayla does anything and everything other than staying in the saddle.
Mikayla began trick riding at the tender age of 10 under the expert teaching of Australian master horseman, Heath Harris. She began performing with the Australian all girl national trick riding team, Girls, Girls, Girls at 12 and has performed all over Queensland and New South Wales including the Sydney Royal Show.
